Worship and Relationship-Building
Worship & Relationship-Building
One of the spokes of the CHM ministry wheel is “Worship”. Each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. our residents and other members of the CHM family gather informally in the lower level of the Thrift Store for worship and fellowship in a non-denominational setting. The Director of Cumming Home Ministries Tom Salzer serves as Chaplain and overseer of the spiritual nurturing of our residents.

Several members of the CHM Board of Directors choose to worship with the men, which affords them the opportunity of getting acquainted and offering friendship and guidance to the men within that setting.

What our clients say
  • The Ministry Team of CHM gave me the love, support, and job I needed to walk out of my dark past and continue to encourage me while out on my own now.
    John A.
  • CHM gave me shelter, moral support, ability to attend AA meetings and school, and connection for a job. I'm stepping out of my destructive past and bettering myself with a purpose to become who I think God wants me to be.
    G. G.
  • Lifelong Christian friends and mentors living real faith; there and willing to help when I needed to get back on my feet.
